{"id":614,"date":"2023-09-12T14:15:43","date_gmt":"2023-09-12T12:15:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.institut-foton.eu\/?p=614"},"modified":"2025-04-22T13:55:11","modified_gmt":"2025-04-22T11:55:11","slug":"polar-senseurs-imagerie","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.institut-foton.eu\/en\/polar-senseurs-imagerie\/","title":{"rendered":"Polarimetry, sensors and imaging"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In addition to fundamental research activities in the formation of images (self-imaging, Talbot effect), we develop unconventional imaging techniques, such as orthogonality breaking, polarimetric imaging or speckle interferometry. We also use our know-how on the architecture and dynamics of lasers to develop new lidar techniques. Additionally, the use of fiber architectures allows us to implement distributed sensors, or to study different fundamental physical interactions using extremely sensitive methods. These activities is based on the team&#8217;s expertise in the field of interferometer dynamics, a skill developed for the detection of gravitational waves (VIRGO).
