Presentation

Created around 2007, the nanoRennes platform stems from the CNRS’s desire to pool equipment dedicated to micro-nanofabrication. This platform consists in pooling the technological and human resources of the DMM-IETR (Microelectronics & Microsensors-IETR Department) and FOTON-INSA laboratories in Rennes.

As such, and in addition to the national network of the CNRS’s 6 major technology centers (Renatech), nanoRennes joined the CNRS’s network of 9 local technology platforms, known as the “second circle”, in 2009.

nanoRennes, like the IEMN’s Renatech platform, is therefore a reference technology center for the C’nano Grand Nord Ouest network. nanoRennes’ mission is to provide nano-micro-fabrication services to support academic and industrial laboratories at regional and national level, as well as the Renatech network platforms, in line with its skills and know-how.
