Presentation

PERSYST is a research platform of the FOTON Institute, a joint research unit under the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), University of Rennes 1, and the National Institute for Applied Sciences (INSA) of Rennes.

We provide expertise and technical resources for the evaluation of high-speed optical communication devices and systems.

Our mission is to:

• Provide experimental support for research conducted at Institut FOTON in the field of optical communications.
• Engage in collaborative research projects at international and national level, where our long-standing expertise in the characterization of devices and systems for optical communications is decisive.
• Provide a commercial service to companies, particularly start-ups and SMEs, but also to large corporations or research facilities wishing to benefit from our expertise and our test and measurement facilities.

We are located in Lannion, in Brittany, in the heart of an industrial zone with a strong focus on telecommunications and photonics.
